Rich “Ace” Franklin will take on Dan Henderson at UFC 93 which takes place at The O2 in Dublin, Ireland on January 17. The fight will take place at the 205 weight class.

Franklin had run the UFC middleweight picture for some time before Anderson Silva defeated him twice, and still is considered a top level MMA fighter. His latest foray into the 205 class had him winning against Matt Hamill via TKO at UFC 88:Breakthrough, and other than his loses to Silva Franklin has never lost in the Octagon.

Henderson is coming off a much needed win against BJJ expert Rousimar Palharas via unanimous decision at UFC 88. Both fighters have the potential to be champions, with Henderson hoping for a rematch at either the 185 or 205 titles.

UFC 93 will air at 10:00 pm via pay-per-view, and The MMA News will keep you up to date on any developments.
