8th Degree Black: MMA Inspired FashionWear.

8thdegreeblacklogo.jpgThe MMA News continues our series on StreetWear with 8th Degree Black. 8th Degree Black is a relatively new clothing company, but one who’s future looks very bright. We have been following the company from it’s initial stages to the finished(and we would say polished) product and we are very impressed with what they’re bringing to the MMA clothing industry. Unlike many other MMA Clothing Companies, 8th Degree Black is very unique and carries a design that will not be mistaken for other brands. Here’s the excerpt from 8th Degree’s website:

Our Brand: 8th Degree Black is a high quality brand of Mixed Martial Arts
inspired FashionWear. 8th Degree Black appeals to the casual MMA fan,
as well as hardcore fans that recognize the bravery and tradition of
martial arts. While we are inspired by the world of MMA, our brand
also appeals to the fashion conscious that are always looking for a
fresh and trendy style.

Our Inspiration: Like MMA itself, our graphics are a cross-culture blend of
fast paced excitement and global heritage. We chronicle MMA from its origins,
when Pankration was introduced in the Greek Olympic Games. It is considered
the first all-encompassing fighting system in history. We illustrate the
concepts of Brazil’s Vale Tudo, and Japan’s Shooto, which combined the
elements of various martial arts. Together, they pioneered today’s Mixed
Martial Arts revolution.

Our Mission: As MMA transcends from the underground world to mainstream
phenomenon, we believe there is a market for a new and exciting style of
FashionWear. Our mission is to provide a sleek brand of styles that capture the
true essence of Mixed Martial Arts.

Our Style: We focus on only the finest, high-end garments to give consumers
the comfort and style they deserve. We utilize softhand and waterbase inks for
optimum wearability. Combined with our original and creative artwork, the
result is an exceptional line of branded FashionWear

The MMA News will be giving away a few 8th Degree Black shirts, just watch for the contest details.

(editor’s note: In dealing with Tim from 8th Degree Black I have found a very MMA community oriented person who brings the kind of professionalism that you look for when you buy a product, and the support you need to make sure you are kept happy.)
