The weigh ins for TUF(The Ultimate Fighter) 8 finale have come and gone and there was one major issue. Wilson Gouveia(who normally fights at light heavyweight) came in a large 4 lbs overweight for his bout with Jason McDonald. As a result NSAC(Nevada State Athletic Commission) ruled that the fight would have to be contested at a catchweight of 189lbs, thus forfeiting 20 % of Gouveia’s purse to MacDonald. Otherwise there were no other eventful happenings at the weigh-ins.
