White Guarantees UFC Broadcast For U.K. Fans

The UFC’s broadcast partner in the United Kingdom, Setanta Sports an Irish-based premium sports channel, finds itself over-leveraged to the point where they cannot make payments to their business partners. Setanta’s financial struggles does not bode well for UK fans who wish to see the upcoming UFC 99 event from Germany this weekend.
UFC President Dana White has guaranteed that the event will be made available to British and Irish fans through his Twitter account.
“Hang tight, we will be on TV,” White stated. “Either Setanta or Bravo. We are working on it.”
Currently, Bravo which is onwed by Virgin Media Television, owns the broadcasting rights to the UFC archives and “The Ultimate Fighter” in the U.K.
