CroCop Back In The UFC?

UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta has flown out to Zagreb, Croatia to speak directly to the former Croatian law enforcement officer to make him an offer he can’t refuse.
A Croatian news site, INDEX.hr, reported that Fertitta flew in on a private jet and went directly to Mirko Filipović’s home for a two hour meeting.
The article states that “A source tells us that CroCop got an offer that is simply non-refusable,” and that “CroCop will almost certainly re-look at the strongest MMA competition that the world currently knows.”
Filipović has remained unavailable for comments on this new development, but it comes as a surprise to MMA fans as a deal with DREAM seemed almost certain. Filipović was looking to fight more frequently than the six months he was previously offered by the UFC, which could be resolved with this “unrefusable” deal.
Filipović last competed at UFC 99 in Germany where he defeated Mostapha Al-Turk by TKO (punches).
