Mike Brown Will Face Jose Aldo In Defense Of WEC Featherweight Title

Current WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown (22-4) will reportedly face Jose Aldo (15-1) at WEC 45 sometime this fall at an, as yet, undetermined venue.
The MMAjunkie.com is reporting that sources close to Brown and American Top Team have confirmed the title fight to them.
Brown is coming off of his title defense against Urija Faber at WEC 41 in in June. Brown won a unanimous decision in a five round battle that saw Faber break bones in both of his hands early in the fight. With a ten fight win streak on the line dating back to Aug. of 2006, Brown will look to keep his title and his winning ways going.
Aldo also sports an impressive career with an eight fight win streak, and sporting only one loss in his sixteen professional bouts. He won his last fight in just eight seconds by using a flying knee to KO Cub Swanson at WEC 41. Aldo has fought five times in the past year, all of which have come via knockout.
No other bouts have been announced as of yet for WEC 45.
