Mark Coleman Out Of UFC 106 Due To Injury.
UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman is out of UFC 106 due to second degree tear of his medial collateral ligament thus putting a future bout against Tito Ortiz in jepardy. Coleman, according to MMA Authentics Mike DiSabato, has asked to have the bout rescheduled for January 2 in order to give him time to heal.
Ortiz for his part tweeted on the subject with his typical tact, saying that Coleman had “sissied out.”
UFC has not weighed in on the subject yet, and UFC 106 will still feature a headline bout between heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin. The MMA News will update this story as details become known.
