Kimbo Slice To Meet Houston Alexander At TUF 10 Finale
For those fans who are watching this season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights” and wondering if Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson (3-1) will get a chance to fight again, it looks like we’ll see Ferguson face Houston Alexander (9-4) on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas at the TUF 10 Finale.
The Times of Northwest Indiana is reporting that both men will meet at the TUF 10 Finale, instead of the UFC 107 card, and has stated that both men will meet at a catch-weight of 215 pounds. Ferguson fights at heavyweight while Alexander fights at light-heavyweight.
This match will mark the UFC debut for Ferguson, who in the past received severe ridicule from its president Dana White. “Kimbo” last fought against Roy “Big Country” Nelson as part of the first round of elimination matches on this seasons TUF show, and lost in the second round via TKO to the former IFL heavyweight champ.
Alexander is looking to make a big return to the UFC after a short absence due to an injury in the spring forced him from UFC 98. While on the mend he took a fight outside of the UFC against Sherman Pendergarst at an Adrenaline MMA event, winning the bout via TKO in the fist round. Before that fight, Alexander had dropped three-straight bouts in the UFC.
The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale currently includes:
