UFC Promotes Thiago vs. Volkmann To Main Card Of UFC 106
The UFC has promoted a welterweight bout between Paulo Thiago (11-1) and Jacob Volkmann (10-0) to the main card of this weekends UFC 106 event in Las Vegas this Saturday.
The bout was moved up from the un-aired preliminary card after a last minute withdrawal by Karo Parisyan who had been scheduled to face Dustin Hazelett on the ppv portion of the event. Rumors have surrounded the reason for Parisyan’s withdrawal, but it appears he took himself out of the event because of an addiction problem.
