K-1 World Grand Prix 2009 Final Results

The K-1 World Grand Prix 2009 Finals took place early this morning in Yokohama, Japan. The kickboxing event saw a record tying fourth championship title for Semmy Schilt, who defeated Badr Hari via first-round TKO in the finals to capture the K-1 World Grand Prix Championship.

Schilt defeated all three of his opponents – Jerome Le Banner, Remy Bonjasky and Hari to win the championship. All of his victories came via first round stoppages, needing a combined time of 5 minutes and 52 seconds to defeat all three fighters.
