On Jan. 30, Nick Diaz (20-7) and Marius Zaromskis (16-3) will meet one another for the vacant Strikeforce welterweight title.

According to MMAWeekly.com, both men have made verbal agreements to meet on Jan. 30 at the BankAtlantic Arena in Sunrise, Fla.

Diaz has won five straight matches fighting his last two at catch-weights. He defeated Scott Smith via submission at a catch-weight of 180 pounds this past June. He faced Frank Shamrock at a catch-weight of 179 pounds, defeating the mma legend via TKO.

Zaromskis recently signed with Strikeforce in October and will make his debut against Diaz. The Lithuanian has won five straight, including four straight DREAM matches. Zaromskis has won three straight via KO using head kicks. He only needed 19 seconds to defeat Korean fighter Ho Bae Myeon in his last bout at DREAM.12.
