Strikeforce: Evolution Fighter Salaries, King Mo Fined.

dollarsign03Despite losing his main event fight, former Strikeforce champion Cung Le was the big winner financially, taking home a solid $150,000 for his effort. In an interesting twist Strikeforce Heavyweight Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal earned $10,000 plus another $10,000 for the win, but ended up being fined 10% of his purse after he splashed the cage with Rockstar Energy Drink(which is one of his sponsors.) The fine was handed down by the CSAC(California State Athletic Commision). The total reported payroll for the event was $481,200. Here’s the complete list, and keep in mind that these are base salaries that don’t include things such as sponsorships, undisclosed bonuses, and revenue sharing, nor do they account for expenses such as taxes, insurance, and licenses.
