Sources close to the Affliction scene are saying that the music for Affliction: Day of Reckoning will be provided by monster rocker Ozzy Osbourne. There’s little details on how it came about, but there were rumors swirling about the first show having the rocker turned reality star. Obviously those rumors didn’t pan out, but Affliction themselves seem to be stirring the pot with mention of Osbourne.
This move is certainly a calculated one by the UFC as they can expect some fans to come strictly to see Osbourne, who is a solid live performer, and should take some of the scrutiny off their Fedor-less card. Affliction continues to combine MMA with the rockstar lifestyle to the delight of MMA fans who are looking for a change.
Affliction: Day Of Reckoning takes place October 11 and features a main event bout between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett.
