Bantamweights Walel ‘The Gazelle’ Watson (9-4) and Mitch ‘The Menace’ Gagnon (8-2) are set to meet in Ontario as part of this September’s upcoming UFC 152 event.

Officials with the promotions Canadian office announced the bout on Twitter (@UFC_CA) on Friday.

UFC 152 is expected occur on September 22, 2012 in at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.

Watson may be staring a pink slip in the face after back-to-back losses in the Octagon. ‘The Gazelle’ has gone 1-2 in the UFC with a decision loss to T.J. Dillashaw at UFC on FUEL TV 1 and a split decision defeat at UFC 140 versus Yves Jabouin. Watson won his debut by finishing Joseph Sandoval at UFC on Versus 6 by first round TKO.

Gagnon will appear make his second Octagon appearance, competing in front of his fellow Canadians for a second straight bout. ‘The Menace’ took a six fight win streak into his UFC debut last month in Calgary versus Bryan Caraway, only to end up losing by third round submission. A consolation prize for the Ontario fighter, he and Caraway did earn the “Fight of the Night” bonus.

    Gagnon’s nickname is not and never has been ‘The Menace’. That Wikipedia page contains a lot of errors. He has never really been interested in a nickname. People just call him Mitch.
