Countdown to UFC 144 debuted last night on television focusing on four matchups from the main card of the Japanese event. The main card sees UFC lightweight champ Frankie Edgar take on Benson Henderson, while former PRIDE champ Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson faces Ryan Bader, former No. 1 contender Jake Shields welcomes Yoshihiro Akiyama to the welterweight division, and Anthony Pettis meets Joe Lauzon in what should be a barn burner.
