UFC sophomore fighters Nick Penner (11-2) and Tom DeBlass (7-1) appear set to meet according to a report from theScore.com, who confirmed the match with sources close to the fight.

UFC on Fuel TV 4 is expected to take place on July 11, 2012 at HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The bout between Penner and DeBlass will almost certainly appear on the nights preliminary card, possibly on a live Facebook.com/UFC stream or as an opening match on television.

Penner debuted with the UFC last March in Sydney, Australia as part of the UFC on FX 2 card, fighting outside of his native Canada for the first time in his career. Penner suffered a first round TKO loss to Anthony Perosh, losing with one second on the clock. The defeat ended an eight fight win streak for the Blumenort, Manitoban.

DeBlass suffered a loss in his UFC debut also, losing a majority decision to Cyrille Diabate at UFC Sweden in April after stepping in for an injured Jorgen Kruth. The Ricardo Almeida trained fighter had been undefeated before the loss, winning seven straight under the Ring of Combat banner in New Jersey.

Chan-Sung Jung put on an incredible performance at UFC on FUEL, proving it takes more than a few punches to put down “The Korean Zombie”. Jung spoke with UFC Tonight analyst Ariel Helwani after his highlight-reel submission victory over Dustin Poirier and let it be known that he wants a shot at the UFC featherweight title.

He kicked off 2012 with a decision victory over Jordan Mein on January 7th in Las Vegas at “Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine.” Now unbeaten at 10-0 with six finishes, the 29 year-old is expected to compete for the vacant Strikeforce welterweight belt in the near future.

An amazing night of fights at UFC on FUEL TV was capped off by a potential Fight of the Year between featherweight standouts “The Korean Zombie” Chan-Sung Jung and Dustin Poirier. The incredible 4-round battle saw Jung locking in a fight ending D’arce choke that turned the lights out on Poirier and gave rise to a potential title shot for “The Korean Zombie”.

Featherweight fighter ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung truly came into his own on Tuesday night by putting the pressure on opponent Dustin Poirier in their UFC on FUEL TV 3 main event bout. Both men would battle into the fourth round for the first time in their careers, and Jung would eventually secure a D’arce choke submission ending the fight.

Lightweight fighter Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone put on a great performance Tuesday night in Fairfax, Virginia bouncing back from a loss to Nate Diaz by dominating Jeremy Stephens throughout their fight. Cerrone showcased his standup by frustrating Stephens throughout the fight on his way to a unanimous decision victory.

Following last nights UFC on FUEL TV: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier event at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia several of the nights big winners were came out for the shows post-fight press conference.
