Earning the next top spot was lightweight Josh Thomson who made $80,000 with no win bonus for his victory against KJ Noons.
Headliners, newly crowned Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey made $32,000 (with a $17,000 win bonus) for her first round submission win over former title holder Miesha Tate, who made $19,000 in the loss.
Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey went down at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus this past weekend with the main card airing on SHOWTIME and the prelim card airing on Showtime Extreme.
